Official Rules & Conditions

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN.

1.  SPONSORS 

The Mack Trucks & Richard Childress Racing Honorary Team Member Ride-Along Contest (the “Contest”) is jointly sponsored by Mack Trucks, Inc., 7900 National Service Road, Greensboro, NC 27409, and Richard Childress Racing, LLC, 425 Industrial Drive, Welcome, NC 27374 (collectively, the “Sponsors”). 

The Contest is administered by Mack Trucks, Inc. on behalf of the Sponsors. 

2. CONTEST DESCRIPTION 

This promotion is a contest. Eligible entrants will submit an application and written response for consideration. The Sponsors will review all eligible submissions and select five (5) finalists. The Grand Prize Winner will then be determined solely by public voting among the finalists, subject to verification by the Sponsors. 

3.  ELIGIBILITY 

The Contest is open only to legal residents of the United States, except residents of Arizona and North Dakota, who: 

  • Are twenty-one (21) years of age or older at the time of entry; 
  • As of August 3, 2026, own, operate, manage, drive, or make purchasing decisions regarding one or more Mack trucks; 
  • Are able to travel and participate in the prize experience described herein; 
  • Speak and understand English; 
  • Can provide proof of eligibility upon request; and 
  • Are able to satisfy all credentialing, security, access, participation, and background screening requirements imposed by the Sponsors, NASCAR, Charlotte Motor Speedway, or any other governing or participating entity. 

Employees, officers, directors, agents, representatives, contractors, dealers, distributors, and immediate family members of the Sponsors, NASCAR, Charlotte Motor Speedway, their affiliated companies, subsidiaries, advertising agencies, promotional agencies, and any entity involved in the administration of the Contest are not eligible to participate. 

Any employee using a picture of their employer’s Mack truck to enter the Contest must have permission from their employer to participate. Sponsors are not responsible for internal corporate disputes over prize ownership. 

The Contest is governed by United States law and is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations. The Contest is void where prohibited. 

By entering the Contest, each entrant agrees to be fully and unconditionally bound by these Official Rules. Each entrant represents and warrants that they meet the eligibility requirements stated in these Official Rules. Also, each entrant agrees to accept all decisions of the Sponsors as final and binding. 

4.  CONTEST PERIOD 

The Contest begins at 12:00:00 a.m. Eastern Time on August 3, 2026 and ends at 11:59:59 p.m. Eastern Time on September 15, 2026. 

The Contest consists of the following phases: 

  1. Entry Period: August 3, 2026 – August 14, 2026 
  2. Finalist Selection: August 17, 2026 – August 28, 2026 
  3. Public Voting: August 31, 2026 – September 15, 2026 

The Sponsors’ computer systems shall serve as the official timekeeping devices for the Contest. 

5.  HOW TO ENTER 

During the Entry Period, eligible participants must complete the official online entry form and provide: full name, email address, phone number, company name, job title, Mack truck model(s) owned, operated, or managed, years as a Mack customer, a photograph standing in front of their Mack truck, and a written response to the following question: 

“Tell us why you should be selected to become an Honorary Richard Childress Racing Team Member for the Weekend.” 

Limit one (1) entry per person and per email address during the Entry Period. 

All entries must be received by August 14, 2026, at 11:59 pm (ET). Entries that are late, incomplete, fraudulent, misleading, generated by automated means (including without limitation use of generative AI models), or otherwise fail to comply with these Official Rules may be disqualified. 

6.  ENTRY REQUIREMENTS 

By submitting an entry, each entrant represents and warrants that: 

  • The submitted photograph is original or entrant possesses all necessary permissions to submit it; 
  • The entry does not infringe upon any copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, or other rights of any third party; 
  • The entry contains no false, misleading, defamatory, obscene, offensive, unlawful, or inappropriate content; 
  • Any persons appearing in submitted photographs have consented to such use; 
  • All information submitted is accurate and truthful. 

The Sponsors reserve the right to disqualify any entry that violates these Official Rules or is inconsistent with the values, reputation, or business interests of the Sponsors, NASCAR, or affiliated entities. 

7.  FINALIST SELECTION 

Following the close of the Entry Period, a judging panel designated by the Sponsors will review all eligible submissions. 

Five (5) finalists will be selected based upon the following weighted factors: 

  • Quality and completeness of submission (10%); 
  • Originality of response (20%); 
  • Demonstrated passion for Mack trucks (30%); 
  • Authenticity of story (25%); and 
  • Overall suitability for the experience (15%). 

In the event of a tie, the entrant with the highest score in category (c) will prevail. If the entrants are tied in category (c), the remaining categories will be used as further tie breakers in the order of the remaining category with the greatest weight until there is a category in which the entrants are not tied. If the entrants are tied in all categories, then the winner will be the entrant whose entry was submitted first. Finalist selection decisions are within the sole discretion of the Sponsors and are final and binding. 

8.  PUBLIC VOTING 

The Public Voting Period begins August 31, 2026 and ends September 15, 2026. 

The five (5) finalists will be featured on designated Mack Trucks and Richard Childress Racing promotional channels for public voting. 

Voting is limited to one (1) vote per person per day. The Sponsors reserve the right to require email verification or other validation procedures. Voting is open only to legal residents of the fifty (50) United States and the District of Columbia with a valid email account. 

Automated voting, vote-buying, vote exchanges, bot voting, creation of multiple accounts, use of scripts, or any other attempt to manipulate voting results are strictly prohibited. 

The Sponsors reserve the right to invalidate votes determined to be fraudulent, artificially generated, or otherwise do not comply with these Official Rules or are inconsistent with the intent of the Contest. 

The finalist receiving the highest number of valid votes during the Public Voting Period will be declared the potential Grand Prize Winner, subject to verification of eligibility and compliance with these Official Rules. 

In the event of a tie, the Sponsors shall conduct a tie-breaker review among the tied finalists using the original finalist judging criteria. The Sponsors’ decision shall be final and binding. 

9.  WINNER SELECTION AND NOTIFICATION 

Following the conclusion of the Public Voting Period, the Sponsors will verify vote totals and eligibility requirements. 

One (1) Grand Prize Winner will be selected based solely on receiving the highest number of valid votes during the Public Voting Period (except in the event of a tie, as discussed above). 

The potential winner will be notified via email, telephone, and/or other means determined by the Sponsors. The Sponsors shall have no liability for any potential winner’s failure to receive notices due to spam, junk e-mail, or other security settings or for potential winner’s provision of incorrect or otherwise non-functioning contact information. 

The potential winner must respond within seven (7) calendar days of notification and complete all required eligibility forms, affidavits, waivers, releases, credential applications, and other documentation requested by the Sponsors. 

Failure to comply may result in disqualification and selection of an alternate winner based on the next-highest verified vote total. 

10.  GRAND PRIZE 

One (1) Grand Prize Winner will receive the opportunity, together with one (1) guest of at least twenty-one (21) years of age at the time of the experience, to attend and participate in the Bank of America 400 NASCAR Cup Series race weekend in Charlotte, North Carolina. The Grand Prize Winner will serve as an Honorary Richard Childress Racing Team Member during the experience. If the Grand Prize Winner elects not to bring a guest, no substitute prize or additional compensation will be provided. 

The Grand Prize is provided jointly by the Sponsors. 

The experience is expected to include: 

  • Visit to Richard Childress Racing Headquarters in Welcome, North Carolina 
  • Facility and shop tour 
  • Opportunity to assist with race preparation activities as directed by Richard Childress Racing (Grand Prize Winner only) 
  • Travel aboard a Richard Childress Racing Mack Anthem race hauler between designated locations (Grand Prize Winner only) 
  • Behind-the-scenes race weekend activities 
  • Team interactions, subject to availability 
  • Garage access opportunities, subject to NASCAR and RCR approval 
  • Admission to the Bank of America 400 NASCAR Cup Series race 
  • Travel stipend assistance in the total amount of $2,000 to be provided in the form of a gift card (not per person) 
  • Additional experiences determined by the Sponsors
  • A prize pack consisting of Mack Trucks and Richard Childress Racing branded merchandise

Approximate Retail Value (“ARV”): $2,500. Actual/appraised value may differ at the time of prize award. 

All expenses and incidental travel costs not expressly stated in the package description above, including but not limited to, ground transportation, meals, incidentals, passenger tariffs or duties, airline fees, surcharges, airport fees, service charges or facility charges, personal charges at lodging, security fees, or other expenses are the sole responsibility of the winner. 

No cash alternative or substitution will be permitted except at the Sponsors’ sole discretion. 

Payment of any applicable federal, state, and local taxes are the sole responsibility of the winner. 

11.  TRAVEL AND PARTICIPATION REQUIREMENTS 

Winner and guest must possess valid government-issued identification and comply with all travel, venue, NASCAR, and Sponsor requirements. 

Winner and guest must execute any required liability waivers, publicity releases, assumption-of-risk agreements, credential applications, background screenings, confidentiality agreements, medical certifications, safety acknowledgements, or other documents required by the Sponsors, NASCAR, Charlotte Motor Speedway, or their respective insurers. 

Winner acknowledges that participation may involve travel aboard commercial vehicles, access to active motorsports facilities, exposure to moving vehicles, loud noise, heavy equipment, restricted-access areas, and other risks associated with professional motorsports operations. 

The Sponsors, NASCAR, and Charlotte Motor Speedway retain sole discretion regarding access to restricted areas, team personnel, race operations, garages, pit areas, haulers, and credentialed locations. 

Portions of the experience may be modified, restricted, substituted, delayed, or cancelled due to safety, security, operational, competitive, weather-related, or other considerations without compensation or liability to the Sponsors. 

The Sponsors, NASCAR, and Charlotte Motor Speedway reserve the right to remove the winner and/or guest from any portion of the experience if deemed unsafe, disruptive, non-compliant, or otherwise unsuitable. 

12.  PUBLICITY RELEASE 

Except where prohibited by law, participation in the Contest constitutes entrant’s consent for the Sponsors, NASCAR, Charlotte Motor Speedway, and their respective affiliates to use entrant’s name, likeness, image, voice, biographical information, submitted materials, and statements for advertising, marketing, publicity, and promotional purposes in any media now known or later developed, throughout the world, and in perpetuity without further compensation. 

13.  CONTENT LICENSE 

By entering, entrants grant the Sponsors a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, distribute, modify, publish, display, create derivative works from, and otherwise exploit submitted content for any lawful business, marketing, promotional, editorial, or commercial purpose. Any employee using a picture of their employer’s Mack truck to enter the Contest must have permission from their employer to participate and must have the authority to grant Sponsors the license described above.  

Entrants retain ownership of their original submissions, subject to the foregoing license. 

All photographs, videos, interviews, recordings, and content captured during the prize experience shall be owned jointly by the Sponsors unless otherwise agreed in writing. 

14.  GENERAL CONDITIONS 

The Sponsors reserve the right to disqualify any entrant who: 

  • Violates these Official Rules; 
  • Tampers with the entry or voting process; 
  • Acts in an unsportsmanlike, disruptive, or inappropriate manner; 
  • Attempts to undermine the legitimate operation of the Contest. 

The Sponsors reserve the right, in their sole discretion, to cancel, suspend, terminate, or modify the Contest if fraud, technical failures, unauthorized intervention, force majeure events, safety concerns, or any other factor impairs the integrity or proper functioning of the Contest. Sponsors may elect to award the prize based on eligible entries received prior to cancellation. 

15.  INDEMNIFICATION 

By participating, each entrant agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless the Sponsors, NASCAR, and Charlotte Motor Speedway, and their respective parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, officers, directors, employees, agents, contractors, representatives, dealers, promotional agencies, and promotional partners from and against any and all third-party claims, demands, suits, actions, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including without limitation reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of, resulting from, or related to entrant’s participation in the Contest or acceptance, use, or participation in the prize experience. 

16.  RELEASE AND LIMITATION OF LIABILITY 

The Sponsors are not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, misdirected, corrupted, delayed, or illegible entries; technical failures; internet interruptions; unauthorized intervention; hu man error; or any injury, loss, or damage arising from participation in the Contest or prize experience. 

By participating in the Contest and/or accepting the prize, each entrant agrees to release and discharge the Sponsors, NASCAR, and Charlotte Motor Speedway, and their respective parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, officers, directors, employees, agents, contractors, representatives, dealers, promotional agencies, and promotional partners from any and all claims and liability of any kind arising out of, resulting from, or related to entrant’s participation in the Contest or acceptance, use, or participation in the prize experience. 

In no event will Sponsors be liable to any entrant for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, punitive, or exemplary damages (including loss of profits, loss of use, or business interruption) arising out of or in connection with the Contest or the acceptance, use, or participation in the prize experience, even if advised of the possibility of such damages, and regardless of the form of action (whether in contract, tort, product liability, or otherwise). 

THE TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY OF THE SPONSORs TO ANY ENTRANT ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THe CONTEST SHALL IN NO EVENT EXCEED THE ACTUAL OUT-OF-POCKET EXPENSES INCURRED BY THE ENTRANT TO ENTER THE CONTEST, OR FIVE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS ($500.00), WHICHEVER IS LESS. 

17.  DISPUTES 

Except where prohibited by law: 

Any disputes shall be resolved individually and without resort to any form of class action, exclusively before a court located in Guilford County, North Carolina; 

The Contest and these Official Rules shall be governed by and construed under the laws of the State of North Carolina, without respect to its conflict of law doctrine. 

18.  PRIVACY POLICY
