Pine Grove TWP Fire Rescue currently operates this 1993 Mack MR Model Heavy Rescue. It's a Mack Chassis with a 1995 Pierce walk in rescue body. The rescue truck is set up for all types of emergencies including Motor Vehicle Accidents, Technical Rescue Incidents and Hazmat Incidents. The rescue truck is first due for about 20 miles of Interstate 81 (10 miles each way) and serves over 60 square miles of first due rescue responsibilities. The rescue previously saw service with Bedford Road FD in Allegheny County MD and also East Islip FD on Long Island NY.
